Peritoneal Malignancy
Our dedicated team of Colorectal Consultants and General Surgeons provides expert diagnosis, treatment, and management of tumours of the appendix, bowel and mesothelioma affecting the peritoneum ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care.
Peritoneal malignancies are complex conditions that require precise and advanced treatments. Our expertise spans a range of tumours that have spread to the peritoneum such as appendix tumours, bowel cancer and peritoneal mesothelioma.
We also provide a specialised service for second opinions and reviews through our Specialist Multidisciplinary Team Meeting. This service is designed to offer thorough and expert evaluation of complex cases, ensuring that patients receive the most accurate and comprehensive treatment plans.
Additionally, we perform staging laparoscopy, a minimally invasive surgical procedure used to determine the extent of peritoneal disease. This crucial step allows for precise staging and helps to guide the most effective treatment strategies.
